October & November Events

October has seen many TM events.  Writer’s Block completed three more sessions with great success!  Kelley shared her home and an exceptional tomato basil bisque for our monthly meeting.  And, we’ll finish the month with our second Public Speaking Park Day.

November will offer more opportunities for learning and fellowship.  Writer’s Block will meet three times to round out the year.  Friday Park Days will continue, but have relocated to Alexander until year’s end.  Public Speaking for November will be held in conjunction with park day on the 22nd.  The opportunity for community service is available by helping with the huge garage sale to benefit Blue Santa of Cuero on the 7th & 8th (contact Angie for details.)  Our monthly meeting, at Nan’s, will be an evening unit study of Cranberry Thanksgiving.  And, finally, Channa will host the All Day Charlotte Mason Seminar at the end of the month.  Please contact Becca for more details if you plan to attend.

First Annual Field Day

Come one, come all to the first annual Tailor Made Field Day.  Let’s get together on Friday, October 11th. This is a family event which will include all sorts of field day games like sack race, 3 legged race, egg race, 50 yd. dash, team leap frog, water balloon catch, hula hoops, relay races, unload the trunk, and hay bale hurdles.

RSVP and food sign up is being handled by Erica and Angela who have generously organized this event for all of us!  Goodie bags and 1st – 3rd place ribbons will be awarded.  Contact them if you are able to help with the prizes.

Hope to see you there.  Location and time details are found on the e-group.
